About Me

trail name: Eliza B
real name: oddly enough, Eliza B. (Well, Eliza M. now, but I was Eliza B.)
stomping grounds: Formerly Seattle, WA. Now, Middle Of Nowhere, IA.
PFX Count:

(logged, obviously, at atlasquest.com. It updates automatically. Isn’t that cool?)
What’s Her Deal?: Letterboxing since 2002, with a five year gap in there from late 2002 to late 2005. I moved from the west coast (a.k.a. Letterboxing Heaven) to the midwest (a.k.a. Letterboxing Wasteland with four boxes placed, other than my own.), and promptly forgot all about it for a while.
On a whim, I did a search for my local area again in November of 2007, and found that there were ten times the number of boxes there were when I moved here. I went and found a few, and promptly (re)caught the bug.
Unfortunately, Iowa Can Haz Winterz, and right now, the only opportunities for letterbox activity involve a lot of planning and daydreaming and stamp carving for boxes I’ll be placing when the snow has gone again.
Welcome to my world.
Please see the pages (forthcoming) on resources and how-tos if you’re confused about letterboxing or the strange language of PFX counts we all use. (It seems a bit confusing at first, but it’s easy to catch onto, and it’s a really, really fun activity. Trust me here.)
