The first person, other than myself, to do a page in the book was my friend and neighbor, Kate Kelly. Everything on the page is representative of our friendship: grapes for our late-night wine-sharing; the tree motif from wallpaper borders we put up in her kitchen.
When a book is altered to become something personal, it takes on a new dimension. One of deep meaning and relevance. It becomes more than it was before.
