Beware the ones who know more than you. If they claim it, they don't. If you suspect it, maybe.

I've been inspired by Terry Lee Getz of Pisces Rising a lot in the past. When she first came out with PR, I was the first one on the list to get one.

In issue #2, she mentioned an old photo of women, all wearing black shoes. It's evolved -- it's the Black Shoe Society. They're everywhere.

This is her Christmas gift. Late. I hate sending things during the holidays -- they're always delayed. It's more fun to stretch the holidays out, anyway. (And TL -- stop looking. This is for you.)

I love making books. Irridescent-covered, oddly decorated blank books. Small artist's books, interpreting this emotion or that sense or some event. I have a lot to learn. I work on them incessantly.

Maybe it's what books represent. Knowledge. Escape. Possibility.

Knowledge is power, or so the after-school specials say.

Power in the knowing. Power in the creating.
