method: It's all Photoshop, baybee.
A couple years ago, I happened upon Ed's site. He was from, at the time, Omaha, and had an online journal that I much admired.
When he moved to Portland, just shortly after I moved southward, he started focusing his site on collaborative art. He had an FTP-participated artchive called PANIC where one artist would upload a picture, another would modify it and reupload it. The re-uploaded picture would be downloaded by another artist, et cetera, et cetera, ad infinitum.
I loved the site, but had little time to participate. I lost touch.
I've refound it. And though I can't see playing as often as I'd like, it's still a fun place to sharpen the digital flexor muscles in short order.
This began life as an extreme close up. Now it is a lesson in seeing.
Never underestimate the power of the hivemind. The collective art consciousness.
