workshops and rates for teaching

THE BASICS
Generally speaking, my class rates start at $25, per student, plus expenses. There is a six-student minimum, and for any area other than the Norfolk, Nebraska metropolitan area, there is also a two-days (four half-day classes or two full-day workshops total) minimum booking.

All classes can be scaled to fit your individual store or event's needs and basic clientele. Time estimates may run longer if your attendees have little or no experience, but more will be added to keep advanced students happy if you happen to have a more experienced crowd.

THE WORKSHOPS
A list of available classes and workshops will soon be available, both online and via USPS. They range from simple technique classes to in-depth process-oriented workshops that will spark the creative mind into attention.

Most, if not all, class offerings can be expanded or trimmed to fit your individual time/event constraints. Feel free to email Elizabeth if you would like to see about customizing the current offerings for your events.

EXPENSES
Within Nebraska, parts of northwestern Iowa, and southeastern South Dakota, I can drive to your event/location. Costs per mile are $.24 round-trip.

Outside of this area, airfare should be provided. I have a good working relationship with expedia.com, and can often find very low fares -- let me know if you'd like me to do so.

In most cases lodging in a hotel is necessary for the nights before and during your workshops. Other arrangements can be made, in some cases. Contact me to work out those details.

Meal requirements: Dinner on the night before class, three meals during the class days, and breakfast before I leave.

WHAT YOU GET
I do advertise nationwide via email lists and message boards when I have classes scheduled, and following general practice, I adhere to a policy of not doing a competing workshop in your area for at least three months after you are scheduled. A good turnout benefits us both, and I'll do everything in my power to help assure that you get one.

Your students receive documentation packets, and often some collage goodies and/or simple materials. Each class is different and if you have questions, feel free to ask.

READY TO BOOK SOME?
Email me to let me know what dates and times work best for you, and which classes you'd like to offer. Once the details are worked through, I'll mail you a contract -- sign one copy and return the other. I'll add you to my class calendar and start counting down the days!
