Y'know what really sucks?
Realizing that the irrationality of your love for someone is the very reason that they can't love you back.

That they've been backstabbed, betrayed, and hurt -so- often that they've already assumed, the minute they love you, that you're going to do it, too. Without a shadow of a doubt.

Having someone love you so much that they want to save you the pain of having to not have their family around (when you love them, too), so they ditch you so you don't have to feel it.

Knowing that how you show love annoys the crap out of your beloved, but not knowing any other way to do it.

Hearing "you can do anything" from one side of someone's head, and simultaneously finding that you can -- but not fast enough, and you've lost the one you love before you can reasonably expect to have found any kind of success.

Having to leave the country because there are too many memories that hang on you like ghosts.

Watching a beautiful wedding with participants that you know and love, and knowing that this is the last time you will ever see them all together.
