All of a sudden,
I really feel like writing. Like some kind of dam broke, and it's just about time to let the words and images and symbols come from my fingers like a rush of cold riverwater.

Thank gawd.

I didn't realize how much time I spend over at livejournal.
With it being down at the moment for the DDOS attack thing, I'm not sure what to do with myself this morning. My brain is reacting to the stress by singing Jennifer Love Hewitt's Bare Naked song over and over to keep itself occupied, and I think I may actually start cleaning things if it doesn't come back soon.

Okay, fine. I'm addicted. Maybe stepping away for a few days would be a good thing after all.

That said, I'm kind of biding time to take Mom to work, and D's coming over like usual this morning. Lots of snuggling, a little healthy liberal-on-conservative debating and we'll be good to go. I could so see this as an every day thing.

I need to quickly whip up about a grand so I can get this barcode and new format for IQ. I'm thinking about selling ten lifetime subscriptions, in fact. $100 a pop, and I've -already- done my editorial calendar through 2007, so it's already a deal. Not sure if people like it that much anymore, though. This redesign/reformat/refocus is going to probably determine it's lifespan.

Change or die, and all that.

Okay. Off to answer some email and start the day off right.

Someday, I'll learn.
The minute things look most unmanageable is the precise minute things are about to Turn Around(tm) for you. Darkest before the dawn, all that jazz.

I'm still busy, but now it's not a busy to avoid, but a busy to finish things so there's more time left over busy.

New boy is just amazing. If he wasn't a conservative republican (and no commentary from the peanut gallery about the death penalty for republicans dichotomy on my "who" page, thankyouverymuch.), I'd say we share a brain.

Ah well. Makes for interesting pillow talk, right?
