05/15/2003 Entry: "mail update, computer update"
ALL mind's eye and how to alter a book orders will have been mailed out with today's mail, excepting any orders that came in since Monday (just got my mail here at the library, and there are a few orders in it that, of course, haven't been processed.).
Four back issue packs are anxiously awaiting issue #5, which I ran out of four short, since the copier decided to only copy on one side of page 23/24. Silly copiers. Doing that this evening, so that by Saturday, every SINGLE ORDER IN MY POSESSION AT THAT TIME will be out and in the mail system.
Sorry for so many delays. Between family stuff and this stupid exploding computer thing, I've been nigh-unreachable sometimes.
THE GOOD NEWS:
GO MAKE STUFF, the zineworld's only (known to me) kids' artzine, is printed (with bright watermelon covers, no less), and has been mailed to those who ordered before Monday. It's nifty. See the top of this page for ordering info.
The beMUSEd newsletter is ready to go, and I'm awaiting time on my friend's computer to put up more info about that. It's probably the most exiting thing I've done thusfar, because it actually inspired ME, too.
OUT OF BOUNDS: how to alter a book II is underway. I've made sample pages for all the techniques (even the new, nifty ones), and I've been longhanding the text to process all at once here at the library. I may even have that ready for shipping by the end of the summer or before.
IQ10 is progressing like usual. It's down to a few articles and some hand-work now.
So there's my life in a nutshell, minus a few tornado warnings and computer dealies.
