03/03/2003 Entry: "There is absolutely nothing in the world"

that excites me more than being able to inspire another person into action. Even if that's just getting out the crayons and drawing something on a piece of paper while they're waiting in line at the dentist's office -- it's creativity, and gawd knows our world could use a bit more of that these days.

I just found a CD that I've had around here for a while with some old email burned onto it. Some were just tips and tricks for Art Stuff and the like, but there was a whole folder of stuff that people had written me from various times: when Dave was first gone and I was writing about it quite candidly, when I first started doing art stuff online, and when I first started IQ (and other creative projects).

I don't even know if I wrote some of these people to thank them for their kind words (I was pretty messed up for a long time there), but re-reading them now has made me realized how blessed I am to be able to be doing what I love and actually TOUCHING people with it. Actually reaching through to people's hearts, minds, and souls. There are millions of people in this world who long to do just that, and for some reason -- fear, circumstance, outside intervention, whatever -- can't ever do so. It makes me think that maybe, just maybe, I'm finally where I'm supposed to be.

Thank you for being here. Thank you for reading. Thank you for taking what I say and doing your own thing. Thank you for inspiring others. And thank you for inspiring me.

Thank you, Beth

You're always an inspiration to me. And few people are an inspiration to me. I'm more the pushy muse than the Actual Art Doer most of the time.
I wouldn't stop reading you for the world
