Okay, I know I already commented here, but seeing the progress you're making and how happy it's making you has inspired me to start my own list. I don't quite know what's going to be on it yet, but I need to stop coasting my way through life. Thank you for being my inspiration, V.

If you're in the area required for #15, I'll buy you a beer. Seriously. (or take you by the Blue Moon farm?) :)

Maybe I'll put that on my to-do list, eh? ;-) Meet all my favorite podcasters.

I started doing the 101 things list last spring, and while I'm nowhere near 'on target', what I love, love, love about it is how it's inspired me to live life right now. Not in some future, not when I'm wealthy, not when... Right now. This one life. I'm grabbing it and shaking it and making something of it.

Mine's here if you want to see:

I love lists and do make goals and resolutions a lot (just about to start my Goals for 2008 list) but for some reason the 101 things freaks me out a bit. I thought about it and I realised that it wasn't the number of tasks, it was the duration. Apparently the idea of allowing myself 2.75 years to do 101 things is scary. It feels too long to me and of course, I believe that I should be able to do 101 things in half that time. Sigh, that tells you all you need to know about me really.

I'm thinking, since it scares me a bit, that I may need to do it.

I loved your list! It was really interesting to sort by "Me toos", "Alreadys", and "Nahs"
Jam is really easy, just buy a box of surejell and follow the directions. Two years ago I made about 60 pints of all different types. Same for bread, though I do use the bread machine to knead. The community that I claim, ( I live near, but not in the boundries) was founded by the Quakers, I went to the meeting house for the first time this fall when they had a baby blessing for all the new little ones in the area. It was really cool. I hope to go more often.

I think I have to do this.

#33--Good luck. I had a hell of a time quitting. The withdrawal seemed so much worse than everyone else's. I won't preach, but if you want real tips and not that half-baked "chew gum and meditate!" bullshit, let me know.

#38--I would be happy to give you my address. :)
